Brief
Studio La Plage produced visuals for “Lost at Sea,” a BBC Sounds true-crime podcast. I contributed illustrations that set the emotional tone for a story centered on mystery and disappearance.
Goal
To create imagery that feels atmospheric, tense, and unsettling — while maintaining sensitivity to real events and avoiding sensationalism.
Journey
I developed a visual language using deep blues, shadowed forms, and faceless silhouettes to evoke themes of isolation and unresolved mystery. The illustrations supported podcast covers, promotional materials, and social assets, helping to build a cohesive narrative world around the audio.
